Dry weather, been watering heavily for 2 days. Had 5 yards of dirt delivered this am by Ex Mayor Beebe himself. That's a lot of dirt and I have a lot of work ahead. Need it along west side of house where the landscape rocks weight sunk in the dirt and want to raisr the slope away from the house. Also want to add fresh topsoil to all the gardens. It's a beautiful, sunny, cool day and the flowers are doing well. In the front the spikes of blue salvia, white gas plant, pink verbascum, creamy white foxgloves look nice along with clove pinks, silver carpet of Stella artmesia, drifts of chartruse creeper. Last of the white peonies blooming along with Doreen. Blue nepheta and yellow yarrow, daisy and ywllow hollyhock in bud. Chartruse bush by hydranga makes a nice focal point. I'm working at Summerfest tonight. Randy coming to join me.
