Spring outing

This morning lily and I drove out to Ramsey where I went to a Senior Expo while Lily waited in the car. Afterwards we went walking on the Ox Cart Trail. It was sunny, warm temp in the 70's and took our time enjoying the weather, beautiful day and the sights and spent some time at the waters edge. As we walked around the curve by the pine forest I heard a loud racket and looked around thinking it was a bunch of birds or ducks making all the noise. I stopped and listened for awhile and couldn't identify the noise or see any activity that would warrant it. I continued walking a few more feet and stopped and listened again trying to pick out an individual sound amongst the racket and finally I determined it was frogs. Many, many frogs which I couldn't see were croaking in unison in around a small pond. I figure they must have just come out of hibernation in the mud and they were soooo happy. I did not see any of them though. There was a speedboat and a pontoom cruising up the river. In the open field on the north saw a bald eagle gliding over the field then sared over the treetops. It was a good day.
