Wet Spring

In yererday's newspaper the weatherman comented that we've had 7 rainy weekends in a row, 28 wet days since May 1. In all, 21 of the past 42 days have been unreasonably chilly with highs in the 40's, 50's, 60's. The gardens are doing beautifully with the cool weather the blooms on the crocus, tulips, peonies are lasting longer than most years. For the most part all plants are doing well. Today lily and I went on a walk on the Ox Trail and the trees and bushes are green and lush. Some of the field, prrie grasses are xhest high and look so nice waving in the breeze. Temp in 10 degrees cooler once under the canopy of the Oaks alont the river trail.
