Frigid Birthday
In the midst of an artic blast with a temp of minus 8 with windchill of -25. Expected high today is minus 8 and -17 overnight. Windchill is -25 now and is minus 60 in northern Minnesota. Wnt outside briefy to fill birdfeeder. Not much activity outside, even the birds are staying away. Sally cat and Lily pup were outdoors for only long enough to do their duty and hussled back in. Not planning on lesving the house today, skipped yoga even, Today is my birthday and I usually thing of slushy snow on this day. Thank goodness there is still frozen snow mounds on the gardens and yard. Hopefully I won't lose any perennials.
