Todays the ist day of spring, but not in Minnesota. Last week it snowed 2 days for a total of 20 inches. Very pretty but...am more than ready of a change of season. Temps running 10 degrees below normal-mid 30's in day, teens or low 20 at night. So the snow's here to stay for awhile. Lily likes playing in the fresh snow. I do have gardening in mind though, going over catalogues, books and magazines for ideas. I have had my eye on a "garden Kneeling Bench" in the Gardener's Catalogue for a number of years with plans of ordering some day when I "needed it". It's getting harder to get up and down when working on the ground so I guess the time's right. I ordered it last week and it arrived today. Of course I ordered other "essentials" I found - 3 glow in the dark green balls to hang from a tree, silver globe for accent in a garden, and a trug for weeds etc.
